Azerbaijani ambassador meets Ethiopian first lady

Azerbaijani ambassador to Ethiopia Elman Abdullayev has met with the country`s first lady Roman Tesfaye.
The ambassador said Azerbaijan and Ethiopia maintained close relations in the field of education and science. He stressed that Azerbaijan is one of the world's most rapidly developing countries. Abdullayev said the government of Azerbaijan pays great attention to addressing women`s problems.
He said that helped by UNESCO, Azerbaijan is carrying out various projects aimed at improving education and increasing education opportunities for young girls in Africa, including Liberia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
The first lady of Ethiopia said the country was interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan.
