Azerbaijani ambassador presents credentials to President of Bulgaria

Elmar Mammadov, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, presented his credentials to the country’s President Iliana Iotova.
Ambassador Elmar Mammadov conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the Bulgarian President.
The diplomat said he is honored to begin his diplomatic mission in Bulgaria, expressing his commitment to further enhancing the relations of friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries.
During the meeting held following the presentation of the credentials, President Iliana Iotova hailed the successful development of cooperation between the two countries.
The sides reaffirmed their commitment to the strategic partnership established between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in 2015, underscoring the importance of further strengthening cooperation across various areas of the bilateral agenda.
