AZERBAIJANI BUSINESSMEN VISIT BUCHAREST
A delegation of Azerbaijani businessmen led by president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers`) Organizations of the country (AEC) Alakbar Mammadov have paid a business trip to Romania.
On October 21, they came together with Romanian counterparts for a joint business forum aimed at exploring ways of boosting bilateral relations.
Addressing the event, Mammadov spoke of Azerbaijan`s dynamic economic development, and informed the Romanian businessmen of investment climate in the country.
He stressed Azerbaijan was declared the year`s top reformer by Doing Business 2009 report issued by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC.)
Mammadov expressed confidence the Bucharest forum will give a push to expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the Azeri and Romanian businessmen.
As part of the trip, the Azeri delegation also visited the country`s embassy in Bucharest and held meetings at the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Agency for Foreign Investments, as well as Romania-Azerbaijan and Romania-Turkey chambers of Commerce and Industry.
