Azerbaijani delegation attends swearing-in ceremony of President of Costa Rica

The swearing-in ceremony of Costa Rica’s newly elected President Laura Fernández was held in the capital city of San José.
Ambassador Seymur Fataliyev represented the country at the event, which brought together delegations from nearly one hundred countries.
At the ceremony held in Costa Rica’s National Stadium, President Laura Fernández took the oath of office before a large crowd and introduced the new members of her government to the public.
Following the swearing-in ceremony President Laura Fernández held a brief conversation with the heads of the delegations.
Ambassador Seymur Fataliyev conveyed the sincere congratulations and best wishes of President Ilham Aliyev to the President of Costa Rica. President Laura Fernández expressed her gratitude for the congratulations and asked to convey her greetings to the President of Azerbaijan.
Costa Rica's newly elected First Vice President Rica Francisco Gamboa Soto fondly recalled his visit and the meetings in Azerbaijan in March of this year.
Former Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chaves Robles greeted the Azerbaijani delegation sharing his positive remarks and best wishes about the country.
The event concluded with a religious ceremony held at the Basilica of the Angels.
