Azerbaijani delegation holds series of meetings in Ethiopia

Azerbaijan’s favorable business and investment climate, the development of the non-oil sector, and opportunities for regional economic cooperation have been presented in Ethiopia.
As part of the Azerbaijani delegation’s visit to Ethiopia, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev met with Habtamu Itefa Geleta, Minister of Water and Energy. During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in energy, water resources management, and renewable energy were reviewed. The parties emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise in green energy and sustainable development.
In a meeting with Ethiopia's State Minister of Agriculture Desalegn Teshale, the sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the agrarian sector, processing agricultural products, the application of innovative technologies, and food security issues.
The Azerbaijani delegation also familiarized themselves with the activities of the Modern Ethiopian Services for Organized Benefit (MESOB). Information was provided on the organization of public services through a unified platform, digital solutions, and mechanisms aimed at increasing citizen satisfaction.
