Azerbaijani Deputy PM meets British Minister

Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugee and IDP Affairs Ali Hasanov has met Minister of State for Europe of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland David Lidington.

Hailing relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain, Ali Hasanov said there was good potential for deepening the bilateral ties.

Hasanov provided an insight into the causes and consequences of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, adding official Yerevan still refused to honor the UN Security Council`s resolutions and documents of other international organizations on the settlement of the dispute. He noted that Armenia's aggressive policy was condemned in the documents and resolutions.

Ali Gasanov thanked the British Minister for the humanitarian aid of Great Britain to the Azerbaijani IDPs.

David Lidington said that the international community must pay more attention to this dispute.
