Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister meets US delegation
Baku, October 16, AZERTACDeputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugee and IDP Affairs Ali Hasanov has met Mission Director for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Azerbaijan Brooke Isham and Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy Dereck Hogan.
They discussed Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and problems of refugees and IDPs who emerged as a result of the dispute.
The Deputy Premier said Azerbaijan-U.S. cooperation reached a new development level.
Mr. Hasanov thanked the United States` Embassy and international humanitarian and development organizations for their humanitarian assistance, and humanitarian development projects.
Mr. Hogan said the U.S. attached great importance to finding a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and improving the living conditions of refugees and IDPS.
He also praised ongoing development in Azerbaijan, the country`s international image as well as what has been done to improve the living conditions of refugees and IDPs in the country.
