AZERBAIJANI GRANDMASTER TEYMUR RAJABOV REMAINS LEADER AT FIDE GRAND PRIX
Azerbaijani grandmasters Teymur Rajabov and Shahriyar Mammadyarov defeated Russian Yevgeni Alexeyev and Ukrainian Pavel Elyanov respectively in the tenth round of the FIDE`s Grand-Prix tournament in Elista, Russia.
Vugar Hashimov lost to Hungarian Peter Leko.
The other results are as follows: I. Cheparinov - V. Akopyan 1:0, D. Yakovenko - E. Inarkiyev 1:0, Rustam Kasimjanov - A. Grishuk 0,5:0,5, E. Bakro - Van Yu 0,5:0,5.
After the tenth round, T. Rajabov, A. Grishuk and D. Yakovenko gained 6,5 points, V. Hashimov has 6 points, Sh. Mammadyarov, E. Bakro, Van Yu, P. Leko and I. Cheparinov 5 points, E. Inarkiyev 4,5 points, Y. Alexeyev and R. Kasimjanov secured 4 points, P. Elyanov and V. Akopyan have 3,5 points respectively.
