Azerbaijani grandmasters to compete in World Rapid and Blitz Championships

Baku, December 26, AZERTAC

Azerbaijani grandmasters will vie for medals at the World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2016 to be held in Doha, Qatar.

Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov, Teymur Rajabov, Arkadij Naiditsch and Sarkhan Hashimov.

The Swiss system tournament will bring together 120 chess players, including 94 grandmasters.
