Azerbaijani, Jordanian businessmen discuss bilateral relations
Baku, April 12 (AZERTAC). With support of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economic Development, Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) co-organized a meeting between Azeri and Jordanian businessmen.
The guests got acquainted with exhibition on Azerbaijan`s social economic development.
Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev provided information on Azerbaijan`s economic achievements. He stressed development of business cooperation between two countries, underlining the existence of wideer potential for boosting ties. The minister said that bilateral meetings will contribute economic development of both countries.
In turn, Jordan`s Minister of Industry and Trade Hani El-Mulki noted the importance of expanding economic relations between Azerbaijan and Jordan. The minister updated on Jordan`s economic development in 2001-2009.
Adil Mammadov, president of AZPROMO, spoke on business and investment opportunities in Azerbaijan.
Yarub Qudah, executive director of JEDCO, noted that Jordanian businessmen interested in Azerbaijan`s economy.
A memorandum of understanding between National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers') Organizations of Azerbaijan (AEC) and Jordan`s Industry Chamber was signed as a part of the meeting.
