AZERBAIJANI OMBUDSWOMAN ATTENDS ROUND TABLE IN CAPE TOWN
Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova attended the round table on the role of human rights institutions in promoting transitional justice in Cape Town, South Africa.
Suleymanova addressed the meeting, and underlined the necessity to ensure human rights and freedoms.
The round table discussed work done to provide human rights.
The event was organized on the initiative of National Human Rights Institute of Cape Town and Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
