The third regional tournamet of young ecologists was held in Georgian Borjomi-Kharagaul national part at the imitative of the Tarqamossi non-governmental organization and through the support of SOROS Foundation and Caucasian Regional Ecology Center.

Five teams of South Caucasian republics were taking part in the tournament, Ministry of Education reports. School children of Azerbaijan showed good knowledge and independent scientific though at the competition.

The jury led by a full member of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, Director of Zoology Institute, Prof. Irakli Elivani, gave first and second prizes to Azerbaijani teams of Baki and Khazar accordingly.

The winners were delivered certificates and gifts.
