AZERBAIJANI SCIENTIST BESTOWED UPON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY PRIZE
For a significant contribution to the science and education famous scientist, NASA academician, rector of the National Academy of Aviation, professor Arif Pashayev was awarded a golden badge after Nobel Prize laureate Pavlov of the International Academy of Sciences under the International Council for Scientific Development /IAS ICSD/.
A congratulation letter sent by the IAS president Walter Kofler and secretary general Michael Puritcher says Arif Pashayev’s services in the field of semi-conductors are well known in the world and results of his work are widely applied in different branches of industry.
The letter also says Arif Pashayev elected in 2001 as a member of IAS founded by twice Nobel Prize laureate Lainus Poling is one of the founders of IAS’s branch in Azerbaijan.
