Azerbaijani swimmers shine with 22 medals in Estonian tournament

Azerbaijani swimmers delivered an outstanding performance at the 105th Estonian Open Swimming Championships held in the city of Tartu, helping the country achieving a record medal haul of 22.
Notable contributions came from Suleyman Ismayilzade (3 golds, 2 silvers), Ogtay Huseynov (2 golds, 2 silvers), Ramil Valizade (1 gold, 2 silvers, 1 bronze), Abdurrahman Rustamov (1 gold, 1 silver), Fatima Alkaramova (2 silvers, 1 bronze), Said Hamidov (2 silvers), Rashad Alguliyev and Maryam Javadova (both 1 silver).
Alongside the triumph in the 1500 meters freestyle, Suleyman Ismayilzade also broke the Estonian record.
