Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs discuss wildfires in Turkey

Baku, August 5, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has had a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The ministers exchanged views on the latest situation with the wildfires in Turkey, operations to extinguish fires and prevent their spread to large areas, and the participation of Azerbaijani firefighters in these operations.

Minister Cavusoglu expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its assistance to Turkey in extinguishing forest fires.

FM Bayramov once again stressed that Azerbaijan always stands by brotherly Turkey, adding “we are ready to provide any assistance to Turkey in these difficult days”.
