Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission holds another meeting

Under the chairmanship of Mazahir Panahov, the Central Election Commission (CEC) convened for another meeting on Tuesday.
The session began with the approval of the protocol from the August 22 meeting.
The commission then addressed the issue of posting information regarding the death of Yagublu Nasiman Gara oglu, a candidate for Zangilan-Gubadli Constituency No. 125, who passed away in a road accident on August 25. In accordance with the CEC Election Code, this information must be displayed on the precinct election commissions’ information boards in the relevant constituency.
The commission also reviewed queries concerning the snap parliamentary elections.
The meeting, attended by media representatives and members of the international observation mission, involved detailed discussions on various applications and the adoption of related decisions.
