Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission registers four more presidential candidacies

Baku, January 9, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), chaired by Mazahir Panahov, convened for another meeting on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the CEC addressed the issues related to registering the presidency of four more candidates, including Gudrat Hasanguliyev nominated by the Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Fazil Mustafa nominated by the Great Establishment Party, Elshad Musayev nominated by the Great Azerbaijan Party and independent candidate Fuad Aliyev.

Following the discussions, the commission registered the candidacies of Gudrat Hasanguliyev, Fazil Mustafa, Elshad Musayev and Fuad Aliyev for the upcoming snap presidential elections scheduled for February 7, 2024.
