Baku, February 8 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Chamber of Accounts Vugar Gulmammadov has met with representatives of the international consortium over the 2nd, 3rd and 4th components of the “Consultancy Services to assist the Chamber of Accounts in implementing its Strategic Development Plan for 2012-2014”.

Gulmammadov welcomed the representatives of the international consortium consisted of KOSI Corporation Ltd., Turkish Court of Accounts and “Central Audit Azerbaijan” and expressed his concern over some delays regarding the execution of these components. He noted that the project has already stepped into a more responsible phase and the measures stipulated during this phase are especially important for future development of the Chamber and strengthening its capacity.

The representative of KOSI Corporation Ltd. said that they have prepared a new action plan to remove the effects of the delays for the next months, and noted that they put together all resources to put in place all the measures on time by the end of the project.

Vugar Gulmammadov reaffirmed his interest in the success of this Project and assured the company would ensure active engagement of the staff to put the project back on track. At the same time, he stressed the importance of ensuring coherence between the updated action plan of the project and the Chamber's 2014 Work Plan.
