Azerbaijan`s Chief Customs Officer meets Norwegian Ambassador
Baku, November 5 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev met with Norwegian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erling Skjonsberg.
The Azerbaijani official informed the Norwegian Ambassador on activity of the Committee.
Aliyev recalled the visit of well-known Norwegian scientist and traveler Thor Heyerdahl`s family members to Azerbaijan, and underlined importance of deepening existing relations.
Aliyev stressed that they agreed with their Norwegian counterparts to hold the next meeting of the Council of Heads of the European customs services in Baku.
In turn, Skjonsberg underlined Norway pays great attention to cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres, and is interested in expansion of economic-trade ties.
President of Statoil Azerbaijan Lars Troen Sorensen also was present in the meeting.
