Azerbaijan`s coronavirus death toll nears 5,000

Baku, May 30, AZERTAC

Azerbaijan registered four new coronavirus deaths Sunday, taking the country’s total number of fatalities to 4,907, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC.

The Task Force said health officials also detected 141 more coronavirus cases after carrying out 5,535 new tests.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases identified in the country is now 333,864.

The total recoveries stood at 324,103 as of Sunday, with 486 patients newly recovering from the disease.
