Azerbaijan’s Finance Minister meets with UN Resident Coordinator

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev met with United Nations Resident Coordinator in the country Vladanka Andreeva on the occasion of the completion of her tenure.
The sides exchanged views on the “Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2026–2030,” signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the UN in October 2025. They discussed the framework’s alignment with national development priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Agenda 2030, as well as its potential for translation into practical outcomes.
Minister Babayev emphasized that the multifaceted partnership with various UN specialized agencies plays a key role in advancing Azerbaijan’s national development agenda and sustainable development goals.
Vladanka Andreeva expressed gratitude for the excellent cooperation established between the UN Country Office and the Government of Azerbaijan during her four-and-a-half-year tenure. Minister Babayev hailed her contributions to strengthening UN–Azerbaijan relations and wished her success in future endeavors.
