AZERBAIJAN`S FOREIGN TRADE TURNOVER UPS 5.1-FOLD
Baku, January 25 (AZERTAC). In January-November 2008, Azerbaijan`s foreign trade turnover surged 5.1-fold year-on-year to USD 53.5 billion, according to the State Statistics Committee.
Share of trade with Italy was 35.7%, USA 11.4%, 6.7% Israel, India 4.7%, France 4.6% , Russia 3.3%, Spain 2.8%, Netherlands 2.7%, Indonesia 2.6%, Turkey 2.5%, United Kingdom 2.4%.
Azerbaijan received a USD 31.4 million worth of humanitarian and technical assistance in January-November.
