Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis granted observer status in Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean

The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has been granted observer status in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM). A ceremony to mark the occasion was held on May 7 within the framework of the First Summit of Speakers and Presidents of Parliaments of the PAM Member and Partner States.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova addressed the Summit, expressing her gratitude for the decision to grant observer status to the Milli Majlis and praising the move highly. She noted that participation in the Assembly creates broad new opportunities to further strengthen and develop relations with member parliaments.
