Azerbaijan’s Mingachevir State University, Türkiye's METU sign MoU

Rector of Azerbaijan’s Mingachevir State University (MSU) Anar Eminov visited the Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, one of Türkiye’s leading higher education institutions.
During the meeting with METU Rector Ahmet Yozgatlıgil, the two sides discussed current challenges in higher education, global academic trends, new models of inter-university cooperation, and areas of mutual interest.
As part of the visit, MSU and METU signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing international collaboration. The rectors expressed confidence that the agreement would strengthen ties between Azerbaijani and Turkish higher education institutions.
The MoU provides a broad framework for cooperation, including student and staff exchanges, joint research, shared laboratories, conferences, and special programs, paving the way for practical, collaborative projects across faculties and departments.
