Azeri ambassador to Kuwait meets country`s Crown Prince
Baku, October 26 (AZERTAC). Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kuwait Anar Rzayev met Monday the country`s Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The diplomat extended President Ilham Aliyev`s greetings and best wishes to Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Rzayev said President Ilham Aliyev attaches great importance to developing relations with Kuwait.
He underlined national leader Heydar Aliyev`s role in establishing and developing the relations between Azerbaijan and Arab states, including Kuwait.
The ambassador recalled President Ilham Aliyev`s trip to Kuwait in February 2009, saying “such high-level visits contribute to boosting ties between our countries”.
Rzayev also touched upon cooperation between the two countries within international organizations. He thanked the State of Kuwait for supporting Azerbaijan`s stance on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
For his part, Kuwait`s Crown Prince said his country was interested in developing the cooperation with Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that bilateral ties would further expand.
The Crown Prince also said he was aware of the ongoing successful social and economic reforms in Azerbaijan, adding he was very pleased with the development processes in the country.
The Crown Prince also asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to Azerbaijan`s President.
