Azeri bank becomes best bank of GUAM countries in PR sphere

Baku, April 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani bank Demirbank was awarded the international prize on the nomination of “The activist bank in PR sphere”, within the contest of “Best bank of GUAM countries - 2010”.

The contest was organized by GUAM organization (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova), Ukrainian KBS-Izdat Agency and Bankir magazine, the bank said.

The prize was awarded at the ceremony in Kiev attended by the Ukrainian government and Central Bank, including representatives of ambassadors from the relevant countries.

Demirbank has been in operation since 1989. The bank has 29 branches, 13 of which are in Baku, 16 - in regions.
