AZERI CHESS PLAYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN EUROPEAN CLUB CUP

Azerbaijani grandmasters Teymur Rajabov, Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Vugar Hashimov will represent Russian “Ural”, Macedonian “Alkaloid” and Israilian “Ashdod” clubs respectively in the European Club Cup which started on October 16 in Greece.

The tournament will see participations of Magnus Karlsen, Vladimir Ivanchuk, Aleksandr Morozevich, Gata Kamsky, Aleksey Shirov and other popular chess players.
