AZERI ENVOY TO IRAN ATTENDING 19th MEETING OF ECO REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL
Baku, January 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani ambassador to Iran Abbasali Hasanov takes part at the 19th Meeting of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Regional Planning Council started Monday in Tehran, according to AZERTAC`s Tehran based correspondent.
Inaugurating the meeting, Iran`s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki expressed assurance the meeting will be very fruitful for expansion of cooperation among member states.
In his report, ECO Secretary General Khurshid Anwar spoke of work done by the Organization and its future plans.
Abbasali Hasanov, in turn, spoke of successes in economic reforms of Azerbaijan. He underlined foundation of successes of transnational economic projects in the country was laid by nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev, adding “ECO members can take advantage of these experiences”.
