AZERI GYMNAST RANKS 5TH IN SLOVAKIA GRAND PRIX
Azerbaijani gymnast Zeynab Javadli ranked 5th in final stage of Grand Prix in Bratislava, Slovakia. She succeeded in Gymnastics Flying Rings Competition.
Zeynab ranked 7th in the rope event and 8th in all-round one.
Other Azeri gymnasts Anna Gurbanova and Aliya Garayeva participated in the second round of Italian Club Championship in Desio.
Anna Gurbanova`s “Comense-1972” club from Como, ranked fourth. She performed the best results in the flying rings. Aliya Garayeva representing Ardor club from Padua, performed in the clubs event only.
She posted the best result in her team, taking the second spot behind Ukrainian Anna Bessonova. Currently, Anna`s club ranks 9th. The third round of championship will be held on 22 November in the city of Ad Arezzo.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Championship will be held in Baku on November 15-16. The tournament will bring together 80 athletes.
