Azeri minister of culture and tourism meets UNAOC high representative
Baku, December 13 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev met with high representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, ex-president of Portugal Mr. Jorge Sampaio within the annual UNAOC forum in Doha city.
The sides discussed relations established between the UN Alliance of Civilizations and Azerbaijan and support to intercultural dialogue.
Mr. Garayev praised UNAOC`s support to Baku World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
Mr. Sampaio hailed political, economic and cultural reforms of Azerbaijan. He said the UNAOC will further support international projects being implemented in Azerbaijan.
Mr. Garayev invited Sampaio to participate in the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, which is to take place in Baku in 2013.
