AZPROMO discusses expanding cooperation with Chinese companies

The Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO) held a meeting with a delegation led by Wang Weiwei, Vice Chairman of the China Association for International Economic Cooperation (CAFIEC) and Director of the International Investments and Cooperation Committee.
The delegation included representatives from the China International Trade Association and various companies operating in sectors such as pipe manufacturing, construction and engineering, pharmaceuticals, industry, food production, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence technologies.
AZPROMO’s Deputy Executive Director Zohrab Gadirov briefed the visitors on the agency’s activities, investment support services, and the diverse business opportunities available in Azerbaijan. He stressed the significance of strengthening the involvement of Chinese companies in Azerbaijani projects.
Wang Weiwei praised the favorable investment climate in Azerbaijan and noted the growing interest of Chinese businesses in exploring and enhancing investment partnerships in the country.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views between Chinese company representatives and AZPROMO officials, with discussions focused on potential avenues for cooperation.
