Azerbaijani delegation attends 30th Consumer Council meeting in Ankara

A delegation from the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan paid a working visit to Türkiye.
As part of the visit, agency representatives Yusif Tapdigli and Shahin Naghiyev participated in the 30th meeting of the Consumer Council in Ankara organized by the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance of the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
Speaking at the event, Yusif Tapdigli, Director of the Agency’s Consumer Market Supervision Department, noted that the existing partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye creates a solid foundation for enhancing cooperation in the field of consumer rights protection.
He noted that expanding experience sharing, strengthening cooperation, and studying modern mechanisms contribute to further developing this partnership.
The participants were also informed about Azerbaijan's experience in the field of consumer rights protection, the existing legal mechanisms in this area, the handling of complaints, and the measures taken to raise consumer awareness.
