Baku hosts international conference "CIS: A Partnership in Innovations”
Baku, December 7 (AZERTAC). An international conference on theme “CIS: A Partnership in Innovations" was held in Baku on Wednesday. The event has brought together Azerbaijani and Russian scientists to discuss opportunities for innovation technologies.
The event is supported by CIS International Innovative Nanotechnology Center, United Institute for Nuclear Research and Baku State University with the assistance of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS Member States. The conference is managed by the Communications Group Insiders.
The event heard presentations from rector of the Baku State University Abel Maharramov, Head of the CIS International Innovative Nanotechnology Center Aleksandr Ruzayev, Director of Development and Communications Department of "Russian Venture Company" Yevgeny Kuznetsov, Director of the Center for Scientific Innovations of Azerbaijan Farman Gasimov, Executive Director of the Open University of Skolkovo Andrei Yegorov and others.
As part of the conference a memorandum of cooperation between the BSU and Communication Group Insiders was signed.
The conference also featured workshops to discuss CIS and worldwide innovations, venture capital ecosystem and communication in innovations, innovation in education, science and innovation for young scientists.
