BAKU TO HOST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT
Baku, January 16 (AZERTAC). WB`s leading expert for transport Christopher Benet and his accompanying delegation will arrive in Baku, on January 21 to attend an international conference on transport development, Azerbaijan`s Transport Ministry said. Aim of the mission is to closely familiarize with the projects being implemented in Azerbaijan with the financial support of the World Bank.
The World Bank loaned US $ 500 mln credit to implement the “Second trunk-road project” in Azerbaijan. The WB is also scheduled to allot 450 mln dollars for implementation of “Railway transport and trade support” project.
