Belgorod State National Research University wants to learn UNEC experience

A delegation of the Belgorod State National Research University has visited Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
UNEC Rector, professor Adalat Muradov highlighted the directions of the university’s development strategy. He noted that the target of UNEC is to be among the world ranking universities and it is the only Azerbaijani higher educational institution that has the branches abroad and provides the education in four languages. The rector drew the attention to the fact that UNEC rank among the best 161-170 universities in QS Ranking table for the “Developing European and Central Asian” region, and the 4th best university in the region among the economical universities. Muradov briefed the Russian delegation on the Electronic University Model and Differential Labor System applied at UNEC.
The rector noted that at the Russian Economic School established at UNEC the personnel training was conducted in 9 specialities and the students were sent to the prestigious corporate structures of Russia for work experience internship. The rector of UNEC drew the attention to the positive development of relations with leading Russian universities and pointed out that he is ready to cooperate with the other Russian universities for preparation of highly qualified Russian speaking specialists in economy.
The pro-rector for the International Cooperation at the Belgorod State National Research University Vladislav Kuchmisty praised the achievements of the university in the sphere of the international relations. He hailed the successful experience of UNEC in the double diploma program with the prestigious universities of the world and noted that they are interested in the cooperation in this sphere.
Kuchmisty speaking about the meetings held at the Russian School of Economics and the International Economics School noted that the UNEC students have the very high academic level.
The delegation expressed their interest in studying UNEC experience. After the discussions, the parties signed the cooperation agreement in the science and education sphere. According to the document, the parties will provide the exchange of teachers and students and will organize the joint summer and winter schools. The joint steps will be taken in the direction of establishment of scientific cooperation and the development of the advanced methods of teaching and will be organized the scientific seminars and conferences.
