BILL “ON PROVISION OF THE PENSIONS OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES ” ADOPTED

On March 12, at the session of Milli Majlis in the second reading the bill “On provision of the pensions of public employees” was discussed. Acting with the message under the project, chairman of the standing committee of parliament on social policy Hadi Rajabli told that after the first reading in the commission many proposals from representatives of the public were received. The working group, having discussed opinions and suggestions considered some of them.

Relevant amendments and changes were made in the new variant of the Draft.

Change in connection with the sum of pensions has been brought and in the Article 6. In the given change, it is spoken, that on leaving of the public employee on pension, for the experience of work in the post of the public employee from 5 till 10 years to him the pension is charged at a rate of 60 percent, for the experience from 10 till 15 years - 70 percent, for the experience over 15 years - 80 percent of the state salary.

The law also is distributed on the persons working in the state, Soviet and party bodies till October 18, 1991.

During discussions, deputies have suggested to reconsider a number of clauses.

After discussions and some changes were made, the Draft was adopted.
