Blast rocks Swiss embassy in Greek capital Athens

Baku, November 2 (AZERTAC). An explosion has rocked the Swiss embassy in the Greek capital Athens, BBC reports.

There are no immediate reports of casualties. A police official told Reuters that the blast was a bomb, but this was not confirmed.

Police say they are also investigating a suspicious package at the Bulgarian embassy in Athens.

The incidents come a day after Greek police arrested two men on suspicion of trying to post small explosive devices.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy was among the intended recipients of one of the four devices, police said.

One of the bombs, addressed to the Mexican embassy in Athens, exploded in the offices of a private courier company, slightly injuring an employee.
