Brazilian investors drawn to Azerbaijan’s economic zones

The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and ApexBrasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotional Agency, held a meeting on the sidelines of the Hannover Messe 2026 in Germany.
The discussions reviewed progress under the Azerbaijan–Brazil Road Map for multilateral cooperation, focusing on Azerbaijani participation in the “Buyers Project,” expansion of investment relations, cooperation with the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), attracting Brazilian investors to Azerbaijan’s economic zones, and promoting mutual investment projects.
Azerbaijan was represented at the fair with a national stand featuring the Alat Free Economic Zone.
Hannover Messe 2026 is a global industrial platform bringing together more than 200,000 decision-makers, innovators, and technology providers from across the international industrial ecosystem.
The “Buyers Project” is a mechanism that promotes exports and international business ties by bringing foreign buyers to Brazil and organizing B2B meetings with local companies.
