BUDGET OUTLAYS CONSTITUTE AZN 10,6 BLN in 2007
Baku, January 23 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan budget expenditures in 2008 made up AZN 10,680,000,000 with budget execution of 96.6% - up by 75.5% or AZN 4,594,000,000 year-on-year, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said.
According to him, the Ministry kept socially-oriented expenditures in the focus of its attention, setting aside AZN 2,312,000,000 - a 38.4% increase over the 2007 figure.
In comparison with that in 2007, expenditures on social security rose by 42.2%, healthcare 34.6%, education 35.5%, culture, art, information, and sports 47.1%.
