At the house of culture in Agstafa region, was held a meeting of the representatives of the CCIC (Consolidated Contractors International Company), engaged in laying of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline, with the entrepreneurs, whose land plots appeared at the territory where the construction works are conducted.

Manager of CCIC Juan Boulos informed the entrepreneurs that the Company has been for three years working in Azerbaijan, is winner of the tender conducted by BTC Co. aimed at realization of the BTS MEP. The Company realizes its works in accordance with the international standards to be observed in the construction of the BTC MEP either.

The 54 km section of the pipeline will pass through the territory of Agstafa region. Construction works on BTC MEP will commence in August current year, and first, a camp and two warehouses are to be built in the Yeni Poylu village. Company’s project-information center will be opened in the region too. Local population will be attracted to the construction works, manager Juan Boulos said.
