CHAIRMAN OF AZERBAIJAN BUSINESS INVESTMENT ASSOCIATION ATTENDS ASTANA-2010 FORUM
Baku, June 7 (AZERTAC). Chairman of Azerbaijan Business Investment Association Rafat Aliyev attended the Astana-2010 investment forum in Kazakhstan.
Addressing the forum, Rafat Aliyev said it is a couple of years that Azerbaijan had become a country investing in foreign countries, including fraternal Kazakhstan.
According to Aliyev, Azerbaijani businessmen will build a broiler factory in Kazakhstan and invest in fishery projects.
The event brings together more then 700 representatives from financial and development institutions, banks and famous companies of the world.
The aim of the forum is to attract foreign investment to the country and create favorable climate for investors.
Mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov and Kazakhstan`s Prime Minister Masim Karimov made a speech during the forum. They thanked businessmen for investing in Kazakhstan, saying 115 projects need investment.
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev`s message to the attendees was read out at the forum.
