CHAIRMAN OF AZERBAIJAN’S CEC MEETS WITH HIS RUSSIAN COUNTERPART
While in Moscow to observe elections to the Federal Assembly of the State Duma of Russia, Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan, met Sunday with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Churov.
Chairman Panahov shared his views with V. Churov about the monitoring results.
Churov thanked the Azerbaijan delegation for their observation mission, and provided information about the elections.
Both chairmen stressed that the intention protocol signed in 2000 by the two countries’ commissions provided conditions for experience exchange between the two sides. They also discussed prospects for cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
