Chairman of Supreme Court takes part in international conference in Strasbourg

Ramiz Rzayev, chairman of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan attended solemn event dedicated to an official opening of the Court's judicial year of European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France.
Guido Raimondi, judge at the European Court of Human Rights, informed participants about works done across the last year, as well as results of the reforms carried out in court. He said, there was an increase in the number of cases to the European Court in 2016
Silvia Fernández de Gurmendi, president of the International Criminal Court spoke about the special role of European Court of Human Rights in the protection of human rights.
