Change of Libyan government ‘won`t affect’ relations with Azerbaijan
Baku, August 24 (AZERTAC). The transition of the government in Libya would not affect the country`s relations with Azerbaijan, a Libyan diplomat said.
Naji Gazala, charge d’affaires at the Libyan embassy to Baku, told journalists the National transitional government of Libya repeatedly said that “all the agreements and protocols signed by the country remain in effect”.
“We hope that, on the contrary, our relations will improve and expand. I hope that the situation in Libya will normalize soon and we will continue our work.”
“Now we need time for all embargos to be lifted and air space to be open. And this will allow all foreign companies, including Azerbaijani companies which operated in Libya to return to our country,” Gazala added.
