CHINA UPHOLDS TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY OF AZERBAIJAN
The Azeri Minister congratulated the Ambassador on new post, expressing pleasure with cooperation to develop interstate relations.
Noting his consent with the visit to Azerbaijan, the Ambassador conveyed happy greetings of the Chinese foreign minister to Mr. Mammadyarov and said he would do his best to deepen the existent links between two countries. He marked that the documents signed during the visit of Azerbaijan President to China had promoted further cooperation of two countries.
Minister Mammadyarov asserted the high speed of economic development of both countries, which, according to him, gives impetus to further cooperation.
The sides also focused the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Noting the necessity of settlement of the problem within the norms and principles of international law, Mr. Mammadyarov reminded the UN Security Council’s four relevant Resolutions ignored by the aggressor.
Ambassador Haichzhoun reiterated that China supports territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The guest also was updated on the economic projects being realized in region.
At the meeting, also were focused a number of other questions of mutual interest.
