CIS International Banking Conference wraps up in Baku

Baku, December 2 (AZERTAC). The 4th International Banking Conference of CIS member states on “Financial markets of the CIS: the road to sustainable development in the context of global instability” has today wrapped up in Azerbaijan`s capital.

The event is organized by CIS Finance and Banking Council and International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) with support of the CIS Executive Committee.

The two-day conference discussed development of banking and financial systems.

The event saw debates on “The growing global financial and debt crisis: causes, consequences and the sustainable development of financial and banking systems in CIS countries”, “The need for banking development strategy of the Commonwealth until 2020, and in the medium term - the forecast of the banking system of the CIS up to 2020”, “Problems of the investment potential and development of efficient transport infrastructure in the Caspian region - the development of interstate economic cooperation between the Caspian states”, etc.
