ClimBaku Center launched
Baku, May 16 (AZERTAC). An opening ceremony of ClimBaku sport climbing center was held in Azerbaijan`s capital on Tuesday.
The ceremony was attended by former president of the UIAA or Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme (International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation) Mike Mortimer, president of the Azerbaijan Air and Extreme Sports Federation (FAIREX) Huseyngulu Bagirov and Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov.
An official website of the sport center www.climaku.az was presented.
The Winners of the Rock Climbing Competitions UMID-2 were presented FAIREX diplomas and emblems.
Azerbaijan Air and Extreme Sports Federation is an active member of the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation since 2010.
