Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Heydar Aliyev high military school President Ilham Aliyev said that commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is the historical event. According to the President, this is an extremely important event for our people, country, region, strengthening of security measures in the region, regional cooperation as well as for Azerbaijan to have stronger positions in the world community. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline project will contribute to further development in all spheres in Azerbaijan.

“Baku-Tbilisi-Erzerum gas pipeline is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of the year. It will bring additional revenues to Azerbaijan and, at the same time, serve strengthening of our position in the region,” said the Head of State.
