CONFERENCE “PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE OF AZERBAIJANI WOMAN” HELD
Opening the conference rector, professor Erol Oral stressed women’s role in the development of society and congratulated them.
Editor-in-chief of the “Azerbaijan mektebi” magazine Zahra Aliyeva, doctor of the Republican Clinic after M. Mirkasimov Sadagat Gurbanova told of the history of the women’s holiday.
Deputy chairman of the State Committee for women issues Dilruba Jamalova reported on the inestimable services of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan, world famous politician President Heydar Aliyev in tackling women’s problems.
Then, D. Jamalova told of the path passed by Azerbaijani women.
Chief of the Milli Majlis Department of Social Legislation Adila Abbasova noted women had always enjoyed love and respect in Azerbaijan. Then, women were presented gifts.
