DAILY OIL PRODUCTION REACH 500 THOUSAND BARRELS

The daily oil production in the Central Azeri, Western Azeri and Chirag platforms currently comes to 500 thousand barrels. It is more than planned. According to the forecast, Chirag platform is scheduled to produce 141 thousand barrels per day while Central Azeri 226 thousand barrels and Western Azeri 81 thousand barrels.

Oil production in these platforms is expected to hit 1 million barrels per day in late 2008.
